About Us
Mark and Sean started Parview Homes in 2024 after realizing there was a need for a knowledgeable and personable custom home builder in the Madison area. They named the company after the street where they met, which is also where the company’s office is located. Parview Homes is dedicated to creating homes for everyday life. This means functional homes for yourself or a growing family, that you can age into and truly call your forever home.
Sean Knipfer
Co-Owner
Sean has been involved in new construction since a very young age. It started with helping his dad on job sites when he was a teenager, and eventually taking on a larger role in helping his father run their family-owned company, D&M Concrete, once he turned 23. Sean also attended classes at MATC for Construction Management and Remodeling. Sean still works for D&M as the Vice President where he does all of the estimating and project management. In his free time, he enjoys basketball, softball, and spending time with his family and friends.
Sean has worked with many builders over the years, some of which were great and some of which involved not such positive experiences. This is what led Sean to want to take it upon himself to become a home builder. He hopes to provide a great experience for both the subcontractors as well as the client. Keeping a good relationship with subcontractors encourages a smoother building process and allows for more flexibility for the client. Sean’s knowledge, along with the partnership he has developed with Mark, creates the perfect foundation for Parview Homes.
Mark Alexander
Co-Owner
Mark Alexander was born and raised in Stoughton, WI. He has always had a passion for design and construction. His career in the construction industry started in 1999, building decks, sheds, and other small projects in his small community. Once he graduated high school, he joined a highly regarded
company as a framing carpenter, building residential homes and small commercial buildings. That company started to grow, and in 2002, he began running crews on houses and commercial projects as a foreman. Mark loved the challenge of learning the industry and helping the company grow. He stayed with that company until 2006 when desire to learn different aspects of the building industry took him to work designing and consulting for a remodeling company from 2007 – 2013. After that, Mark began his own design to build remodeling company where he sees remodeling projects from initial design all the way through to the final walk through. In his free time Mark enjoys golfing, fishing, hanging out with his wife and 3 daughters, and piloting planes.
Parview Homes was a dream in the waiting. Although Mark has learned from and worked with many very well-known and reputable leaders in the industry, he has always wanted to create his own business and build new homes.
